Click “OK” to accept.
To configure your DNS, use the the left menu bar, titled Advanced Settings, and navigate to WAN, and then WAN DNS Settings.

DNS Server 2: blank
If you are using a TCP config file, then the DNS settings should look like this:

DNS Server 2: blank
NOTE: If you are user of the ProtonVPN Free plan, you need to use the server config files for our free servers.
If you are using UDP, you should enter 10.8.0.1 for DNS Server 1.
If you are using TCP, you should enter 10.7.0.1 for DNS Server 1.

Once you have completed the DNS configuration, you are ready to connect to a ProtonVPN server and begin browsing.
Return to the VPN Client page and click the “Activate” button to establish a VPN connection.

If the connection is established successfully, you will have a blue checkmark on the connection status tab.
