I use the Notes application on my MacBook Pro extensively. Lately (maybe a couple of months?) I've had problems. There is a 'lag' time between when I type a word and when the word appears on the note. Sometimes it just hangs for a while. Sometimes I get the spinner wheel. It never crashes, but it is extremely frustrating. Additionally, when syncing with my iPhone, not all of the notes seem to update.

I've tried typing with the note open on the desktop, and with it just in the list of notes. I've tried rebooting. I've tried turning off the Mac.

Help! Can anyone give me a clue as to what might be causeing this behaviour in Notes?
